The Titans announce the Head Coaches for 2022-23 season
Mike Gibson, Brent Carty, Scott Buffam and Jordan Johnson selected to guide the Titans.
The Ottawa Valley Titans are excited to announce their head coaches for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
U12 – Mike Gibson
U13 – Brent Carty
U14 – Scott Buffam
U15 – Jordan Johnson
Mike Gibson has been selected to lead the U12’s as they return to AAA league play. Gibson joins the Titans after two seasons with the Ottawa Valley Silver Seven, including guiding his team to an undefeated season in 2021-22.
Veteran coach Brent Carty will once again guide the U13 team. Carty has amassed an impressive resume during his quarter century of being a Tier 1 head coach including a HEO AAA League championship with a berth in the Provincials this season.
Scott Buffam, who is no stranger to the Ottawa Valley Titans Association, having been a previous Board member, takes over the reins at U14. Buffam joins the Titans after spending the previous two seasons being a head coach at the U18 AAA level.
Jordan Johnson, who guided this years’ Titans U15 team into the post season will be back behind the bench for his third straight year with the group. Johnson was recently named to the coaching staff of HEO’s Program of Excellence.
“The Ottawa Valley Titans are thrilled with the talent we have in our head coaches and can’t wait to drop the puck next season,” said Titans President Jocelyn Legault.
