Now Accepting Coach Applications For The 2022-23 Season
The Ottawa Valley Titans AAA Minor Hockey Association are seeking qualified coaches to join the organization for the 2022-2023 season for all 4 age groups.
Interested candidates must be ready to show evidence of an established network or knowledge in the youth hockey circuit for the HEO area. Proven coaching experience, or significant playing experience playing; coupled with strong communication skills. HP1 for U14/U15 are highly recommended. Coach resume, philosophy, sample practice plan and any other material should be included with your application.
As head coach you will work closely with our program director and participate in the development of the program at various age levels. Responsibilities include but not limited to; on-ice practices & off-ice workouts, experience with video training, demonstrate strong leadership & bench management
The coaches must lead by example; instilling teamwork, discipline, community awareness and accountability. Experience in handling issues relating to player wellness, development, academic concerns and discipline. Weekly/daily expectations will include games (supported by your program director), intense practices, individual skill sessions, player meetings with video review and focus on development.
Strong communication and organizational skills along with willingness to support and promote the OVTMHA values throughout our growing youth program is a must.
