The Ottawa Valley Titans U-13 team celebrated a golden performance on Sunday winning the prestigious Shanahan International Tournament in Toronto.
The U-13’s were crowned champions after a thrilling 6-3 victory over the Sun County Panthers. The Titans led 3-1 after the first period before Sun County pulled to within a goal heading into the third period but the Titans would strike three more times in the final period en route to claiming the hardware. The Brent Carty led group showed their depth with goals coming from six different players in the final. The Titans began their tournament with a 9-1 win over the Greater Kingston Junior Gales on Friday morning and after a 4-2 setback by the Toronto Jr. Canadiens later in the day the team reeled off four straight victories to advance to the final Sunday afternoon. It was an impressive weekend for the group as they outscored opponents 39-15 over the seven games.

Congratulations to the coaching staff and players on their championship winning weekend.
